TO ALL MEMBERS OF ‘FORUM FOR DURGOTSAB’
This is to inform you that during Durgapuja Festival, we as a member of ‘Forum for Durgotsab’will involve our self on certain activity in the field of social services. Please note the following points where we are committed to provide services during puja to make the festival a grand success.
- Use of Lead free colour on Pratima.Please note that WB Pollution control Board has distributed free colours to the Pratima Makers in Kumartuli,Kalighat and other part of the city.
- To help the entire Artisans (Pandal makers, Pratima makers, Electricians, and other labours those who are associated to make a puja success) to issue ‘Artisan credit Card’, commonly known as ‘I-card’.
- To give free access to your puja mandap for the physically challenged and senior citizen (we consider them as ‘special citizen of our society’).They should always get the special treatment from all the members of ‘Forum for Durgotsab’, while visiting your puja mandap.
- Any puja committee having Ambulance services are requested to make arrangements for 24 hour services and keep in contact with the nearby hospital and nursing homes / Doctors. In emergency give the best possible services to the effected patient / puja hoppers / special citizens and others.
- Please extend your full co-operation with all the Administrative authority like Police, WB Fire services, KMC, CESC, pollution Board etc. those who are giving 24 hr services during puja days.
- Keep close watch on the threat of Terrorist activity and if required inform the right authority for the safety of the people.
Please consider these as a commitment from our end to the society. Wish you a very happy puja ending and accept ‘PUJA AVINANDAN’.
